Legoland reserve and ride/fast pass

Hi everyone, off to Legoland next week, me and 3 kids.

I have looked online and downloaded the app but I am confused about the ‘fast pass’ stuff.

If you have the app, do you have to pay more to ‘virtually queue’? Or is the benefit of the app just to see the queue lengths?

Eldest is 15. If I do buy us all the lowest fast pass tier, do we all have to stick together or can he have one on his phone?

Are there any rides where the adult child ratio has to be 1-2-1, so I wouldn’t be able to take 2 (or 3) kids at once?

Thanks so much for any help!

You buy the reserve and ride on the resort app. You have to login or make an account. Once you’ve bought it, you can select and ride and make a reservation. You then get a QR code on the app which you scan or show to the ride attendant when it’s your time to ride.
When I went as part of a school trip back in 2021, we used this for ride ratios https://www.legoland.co.uk/media/ckoljy0c/ride-ratios-2021.pdf

Definitely pay for it if you can afford it, as otherwise you will spend most of the day in queues.

You can book your place for one ride at a time, and it halves the queue time, and then you don't have to physically stand in the queue but wait until the app tells you it's your turn. Can o to book one ride at a time but it does mean you can go to the loo, have a look at the Lego displays etc while virtually queuing. You can split up too, eg two people virtually queuing for one ride while two are virtually queuing for another.

Thank you very much that is incredibly helpful.

If you stay right till closing time, we normally get on about 3 rides in the last 45 minutes as well. Walking up the hill and the leaving the car park can be really busy so I'd just stay until you get turfed out. Also sometimes they don't check the car park exits to get the traffic out faster. I don't buy a parking ticket as you can do contact less on exit and sometimes the barrier is up anyway.

One of longest queues is the sky lion one, but its the best ride.
