Anyone else find one of their dearest friend's husbands really annoying?

How do you deal with it?

I think one of my best friend's partner is a dick. I hide it well for her sake.

My friends husband is a selfish lazy prick and I have no idea why she is still with him! His version of caring for his children is weekends away, staying in bed til 11am on days off (does not work nights!) and generally ignoring the fact that she is run into the ground.

I avoid spending any time with him and don't mention him at all. If the conversation moves to him I simply state oh or what a shame then change the subject.
I also will drop in about what activities or evenings out I have had and what days out my DH has had with our children in the hope that she realises some time soon that what she puts up with isn't acceptable or normal!

Can’t stand friend’s husband. He has no value. He has little work. He’s thick as shit. He talks endless rubbish and kills conversations stone dead with drivel. She married him so she could say she had a husband (second marriage; adult children) and now she spends as little time as possible in his company but he’s always got to mentioned in texts as some sort of show of unity. My body language makes it quite clear what I think of him.
