I may or may not have forgotten it’s my nieces 10th birthday on Friday!

Or do I just stick £20 in a card?

She’s at that age where toys aren’t super cool but she’s not in a teen mindset yet either. So is difficult to buy for when you don’t know other 10 year olds to see what they’re into!

I'd go for a voucher for somewhere like Smiggle, or cool stationery - nice gel pens, a lovely notebook etc?

DD is. Very grown up 10 and would prefer a voucher or cash.

I'd go more Kawaii stationary than Smiggle, or manga markers with an artists pad (if arty of course)

Otherwise mine likes pamper stuff - I know you've said Amazon but you can pick the kind of things up in Superdrug or Home Bargains/B&M if you can get to one

Face masks, beauty headband, fluffy socks, a nail varnish, hair mask, bar of chocolate, scrunchie, body lotion, body spray.... all in a gift bag with some tissue.

Other favourites are a glitter lava lamp and perfume to feel grown up - Vera Wang princess is under £20 on Amazon

My 10 year old still loves plush toys like squishmallows? But she is a "young" 10 - if she is more mature then deffo voucher and a box of sorts or some bubble bath

My 10yo wouldn't like pamper stuff but lots would. She'd appreciate a book, funky t shirt or similar. Her favourite birthday present was a create your own comic book from Amazon and has spent hours on it.

These go down well with dsc. Smyths do a gift type set. Its like a handbag with the book and pencils in around 14.99 too.

My 10 year old is too old for Smiggle now 😞 so I’d steer clear of that. She does love stationary though. And bubble tea is big at the mo! You can get kits online.

My 10 year old loves cute cuddly toys, nail varnish, perfume, rings, bath bombs, money, Roblox and arty crafty things. I don’t think you can go wrong with a. Amazon voucher or money so she can buy what she wants.

Cash in a card. We got so many vouchers at that age that expired because we forgot about them.

I would get her your favourite childhood book and a book token to choose one herself.
