We have a Hypnos Wool 8.
We got it from a furniture shop - W&T Nettleyon in Horbury in West Yorks.
They have a showroom of beds all set up with different mattresses to try out.
It was really expensive (> £1000) and worth every penny. I was seeing a physio once a month for my back, but havn't seen him since. I appreciate it every night!

Silent night. Medium firm. They don’t seem to make this particular one now but it’s our 3rd silent night mattress & DH is around 4/5 stone heavier than me & there is never any roll together.

The very best mattress I’ve ever slept on was in a hotel that was recently refurbished, you could buy their mattresses online but at £1,100 several years ago we had to stick to silent night. Can’t for the life of me remember the chain but now this thread has reminded me I will have to find out and see how much they are these days.

We have a John Lewis mattress. I went to John Lewis and tried the beds in ascending price order until I couldn't tell the difference. It felt like being Goldilocks for the day.

StroppyTop · 22/08/2023 19:38

Hypnos, any of them.

YouMustBeHotYourPantsAreOnFire · 22/08/2023 19:39

Ahh the hotel one was a Hypnos. It was heavenly.

Ikea’s mid-range pocket sprung one. It is glorious. Had a budget of up to £5k but this was the nicest one we tried. After 5 years of waking up in pain I now know that it was the mattress causing it.

Flossflower · 22/08/2023 20:13

Vispring which we bought from John Lewis. However, I am reading this thread as I am looking for a less expensive one for the spare room.

Lagershandy · 22/08/2023 20:25

Another vote for Hypnos, absolutely wonderful!

Frosty1000 · 22/08/2023 22:16

IKEA pocket sprung - their mattresses are brilliant.

Latex, dunlopillo

I've just checked and ours is a Hypnos 10 Orthocare Extra Firm Super King.

Love it.

Sorry but please do you know which one? Also did you get it with a divan base?
