To cook filled puff pastry from frozen

Ok, I should know this. I’ve been a chef for years but currently don’t work due to neurological condition.
I made some chicken, bacon and mushroom bakes using puff pastry for my dh and ds. I can’t eat them but love cooking for them.

I made a few but only cooked enough for dinner and froze the rest unbaked. In my head I thought they’ll be fine chucked in the oven at a slightly lower temperature than I would cook pastry at, and for a bit longer. I’m now doubting myself. My son’s girlfriend likes them and next time she’s down will probably want one. I’m now stressing that they’ll turn out like crap and she’ll hate me😂 My brain is a bit mushy and simple things like this flummox me. I’m hoping the wisdom of MN will save me. TIA

You can absolutely cook the pies from frozen. Probably 180 degrees for about 30 mins.

Yes they will be fine! I regularly buy salmon & spinach puff pastry parcels frozen raw and unbaked, and then cook them in the oven. You add a few minutes until the top is properly brown and the underside is cooked. Just make sure you put them on baking paper as otherwise they will stick.

Just to be sure on temp and baking time, check frozen section next time you're in the supermarket.

Yep, absolutely fine, just make sure the top doesn't brown off too quickly.

Thank you all!

great idea @MNetcurtains I’ll have a browse online at supermarket heating instructions too.
It’s mad all these things I know how to do but some days my brain just does not compute. I feel reassured now. Thank you😁xx
