I’ve just heard him referred to as King Chiles (rhymes with Giles)

Are there alternative ways to pronounce Charles that I’ve missed for 35 years?!

I'd assume it was a mispronunciation on the part of whoever was speaking, @HoppyOne - I've never heard Chiles as a pronunciation of Charles.
