Easyjet changed my flights - help!

Have flights booked for October half term.
Chose the flights because the times suited us.
Easyjet have emailed me to say they have changed both the outgoing and incoming flights!
The new times do not suit at all.
Do any experienced Easyjet travellers know where I stand?

I can see the option to change flights when I log in BUT at a charge!

Not sure what easyjet is like, but BA were very helpful when I phoned them re a changed flight (could do transfer online without incurring extra costs). Transferred us to flight of our choice for nothing and covered the booking fee for seats together (which I hadn't yet paid) - nothing like speaking to a real person sometimes.

I'd give them a ring - but with the flights being so far away they only legally have to let you cancel free of charge; anything else (including moving them) can be chargeable.

You should be able to get a straight refund or change them free of cost if it’s anything like RyanAir which I would presume it is as they’re both budget airlines. With RyanAir when they change the time you have to ‘accept’ the flight change - if you do this then you can’t then decide you want a refund afterwards. However if you don’t accept it, they refund you and you could buy siddeeenf flights.

You should be able to cancel and request a full refund from the link in the email they sent you .

Are there any other flight times available which suit you better? If so you may be able to get transferred to those. If you get a refund and try to rebook it may be more expensive to do so now.

Hi I know this post was a while ago but did you have any joy with easy jet they have done the same with my flights so some advice would be great

Rocknrollstar · 14/04/2024 22:27

Our flights have been changed on a package holiday and the T-shirt and Cs say they are within their rights and can’t guarantee flight times won’t change so we have no redress.
