End of our energy fixed deal - eek

We just managed to get one of the last fixed deals before the prices went mad and they were all pulled a couple of years ago (it paid not to follow Martin of MSE fame advjce). Unfortunately it's due to end soon. Has anyone found any good deals recently or are you on a variable tariff?

Currently we're paying 3.85 (gas) and 20.01 (E) with standing charges of 24.02 and 26.12 respectively. I guess we're going to be in for a shock come winter.

We're in the same situation, Fix is ending in October and from what I've look it's the standing charges which are going to double - so frustrating as you cannot reduce usage on these

Same boat here, ours has just ended and the cheapest fix we could get is almost double what we pay now! Been lucky to have avoided the rises this far I guess. We also have deliberately built up quite a bit of credit over the last 2 years so hoping to start using that and drop the dd slightly
