12 yr old DS was never someone who would sit for hours reading but was happy to read every night/day. But even though we limit the screen and really try to encourage him to read, he's become so resistant to spend any time reading. He does the bare minimum, just to appease us. This holiday has been even worse.
I feel so discouraged. I don't want to force him, or else he'll end up not wanting to read at all. But equally, I want him to read and grow and all the other stuff that reading is a window into.
Anyone else facing similar stuff with any good advice?
