Matcha

Never tried it because (weirdo alert) I don't like to taste green things. But this cold tea company (also have never tried cold tea but feel like like my life won't be complete without the fancy bottle and numerous tins of tin) has come up for me on instagram. They sell all these different matcha. What does it taste like? Do you prefer it hot or cold?

You really need to try it before you commit to a fancy tin - I think it is absolutely disgusting, but obviously a lot of people like it! I can’t even describe it - gritty, very “green” tasting, slightly bitter 🤢

I love matcha lattes. It's a very trendy thing at the moment but it is an acquired taste. I don't imagine I'd like it cold, though.

Pret a manger does matcha lattes, maybe try one of those first to see if you like the taste?

I like it hot and frothed up (I use a handheld milk frother) with a bit of sugar, as unfashionable as that is.

It froths really well. Makes it feel more like a treat than a this-is-good-for-me obligation.

Not for me, I think it's revolting. 😂 You need to taste it yourself!

It doesn't taste of anything to me. I do like the matcha flavour Tia Maria but it just tastes sweet to me.

Do you have a lawn? Go and have a large chew on that, should give you a rough idea.

I'm in the bloody awful camp, really can't stand the stuff.
