If you're healthy and fit but prediabetic...

I'm just curious. I am 90% very healthy eating, do a lot of exercise, but dad has type 2 diabetes and my sugars last time around (2021) weren't prediabetic but were on the higher end of the normal range.

I've got another test in a few weeks, and have a sneaky feeling they'll be higher. Post menopausal, despite all efforts, waist is about 2cm bigger than it was in Jan.

ANyway, my point is - if it is higher, in prediabetic range - what can you do to reverse it?

Dr Michael Moseley (on the BBC quite a lot) showed you can reverse Type 2 Diabetes through diet - my mum did it and it worked (she also ate healthily before and was not overweight but following this programme meant she never needed to go on medication) https://www.amazon.co.uk/8-Week-Blood-Sugar-Diet-reprogramme/dp/1780722400
