New York at Easter?

Has anyone here been to NYC 1st week in April? Just wondering about the weather. We've been before when it was super hot in summer and in winter but wondered what spring was like? Thanks.

I went at Easter about 5 or 6 years ago and there was still snow on the ground in some places, although it didn’t actually snow while we were there. The wind was bitterly cold, and I especially felt in when we were on Intrepid. However, we did have a nice mild (ish) afternoon at the botanic garden when I could actually take my coat off!
