Hormone test

I’ve posted on here before about my irregular period and pain during sex. I had a blood test nearly 6 weeks ago only had 1 and it was on the day after my period ended. All the tests came back normal I’ll post a picture of the results below. I also had a transvagial ultrasound and a normal one 3 weeks ago nothing was spotted…
I’ve been reading that apparently the proper way to check hormones is by having 2 blood tests at different times during your cycle. Is that right? I rang the doctors after I had my ultrasound and she basically said there’s nothing else they can do and refered me to a gynaecologist which is a year wait and if I wanted more control over my period to go back on the pill 🙄 but this doesn’t help why I’m getting the irregular periods and pain during sex…
I’m 25 have got a 2 year old that’s when the painful sex started after having her emergency c section. And the irregular / long periods started after I came off my pill in December.
I’ve also posted a picture of the result notes from my scan.

The GP can order the blood test you mention but I don't know 1) whether that would help diagnostically at this stage or 2) your GP would be able to interpret the results.

I would be asking how sure the GP is that you shouldn't need referred under the 2 week wait. I don't say that to scare you but to tease out what might be going on.

Is there any way you can re-engage with the midwife or maternity team, if the issues stem from your EMCS? I'm not sure of the protocol there, hopefully someone more knowledgeable can comment.

@Whataretheodds what makes the doctors put in a 2 week referral rather then on the normal wait list?
I've never thought about asking the midwife team I just thought because nothing was mentioned after we had her that everything went fine during the c-section. ive been putting off going for 2 years then was disappointed when they told me it was a year wait. I feel sorry for my other half because my sex drive is so low and I’m almost crying every time we do it.
then on top of this my irregular periods

2 week wait is to rule out anything that could be cancer. As I said, I'm not saying that to scare you (I'm not a medic). I just want better outcomes for women's health.

Hope you get some clarity and relief soon.

Have you ever had a smear test?
Did the GP do any swabs or check for STDs? I'm just trying to think of other tests they could do to find the cause of painful sex.

Has your weight changed drastically recently? That might cause cycles to go a bit off kilter.

Whatever is going on, it sounds really frustrating and draining.

@ghostbusters yeah I had a smear done in November last year which came back normal. When I first went to doctors about my pain and periods 6 weeks ago she did swabs for chlamydia and other STD I think and they came back normal.
No I haven’t had any sudden weight loss I’ve lost a stone since 2020 but not fast or anything like that. The irregular cycles started when I came off the pill in December but I can’t remember what they were like before that. Then the pain started after I had my daughter.
I want to ring the doctor again but I know there’s nothing they can do till I get my referral appointment
