Can anyone help? I'm trying to remember the name of this film - apologies for the sketchy details which may or may not be quite accurate...
Not a recent film, set after the war in Italy. There's a train crash and some of the passengers convalesce in the home/mansion of an older English woman in the Italian countryside. She's a writer (I think) and some of the passengers redo her garden to say thank you. There's also a child whose parents are killed in the crash and an American uncle has to come and collect her and he's brash and finds the English woman a bore. I can't remember any famous actors being in it. Thanks for your help!
