Had my prep made with flat sprite nearly hour ago and nothings happening yet. Have I made a mistake doing it with sprite?? Anyone have experience of this?

I was going to say ‘give it time’ but I see you posted the op 3 hours ago so I’m sure you’ve discovered it’s working by now!
Good luck.

It does say you can mix with cordial or lemonade so won't be that. First time I had Moviprep it worked quite quickly in less than an hour. Second time took longer and was worried it wouldn't work but boy it did win the end!

Some people definitely take longer to respond the the preparation, keep going, drink lots of water/ sprite as well as the prep if you can manage.
Were you constipated before you started anyway? If you were, the prep has a harder job to do so may take longer/ not work as well.

Good luck!

I didn’t have any effect from the 1st sachet , the 2nd one worked a bit but if you’ve been scrupulous with the diet prep there won’t be much to come out .

Hope it’s all happened for you,OP.
Good luck, it will be over before you know it.

I did mine with sprite. And it did work in the end. Also the surgeon person said I had a very clean bowel (preen) so it's not an issue from that point of view.

Bless you all for caring!!!

Yes it worked, I had the colonoscopy and an endoscopy too, they found a hiatus hernia, mild gastritis and a 3mm polyp in rectum. No results from it yet. I'm trying not to panic about it.

Glas it’s all over for you. A 3mm polyp is tiny for a polyp , and they would have been able to tell if it was something to worry about, which they would then talk to you about before you went home.
Most polyps are harmless ,but always removed so they can’t continue to grow or turn into something to worry about.
