Curtain sizes, per curtain or the whole space?

Sorry if I'm being thick but when you buy curtains is the size listed on the packet per curtain or both together 😂

Per curtain.
The ones I bought recently specifically said ‘each curtain measures…’

So if my window measures 87" wide and 78" high I would need 46" x 90"?

Measurements are per individual curtain but before any gathers

If your window is 87" wide you would need to factor in that each curtain gathers. Even loop or tab top need gathering to look nice and a good rule of thumb is double width for curtains so in total you'd need much more than two 46" curtains for it to look right.

90 x 90 would be better (especially in a bedroom) and the 112 would be quite full. What style are you going for at the top?

66x90 for relaxed gather, could get away with this for eyelet curtains

90x90 for full gather

46x90 would look like you’d hung a sheet when closed :(

It's a pole and no, living room window.

Ah ok dunelm do a single door curtain so two of those would do perfectly of its a patio door

66x90 is great for poles.
