Anyone has a PIP assessment recently?

Just wondering if they’ve reverted back to face to face or if they are still doing some over the phone?
I’ve applied for my autistic son who is 16 and DLA is ending. He very unlikely to actually talk to an assessor face to face.
Thanks

My mum just had one which was done by telephone.

DH had his over the phone about 3-4 months ago, I sat in on the call to provide information too.

Some of them are even entirely paper-based - no phone call or anything.

Pip Assessment Report completely inaccurate!
Hi, I completed a recent pip assessment over the phone for anxiety and ptsd. The assessor had my medical notes and history so I explained how i actually avoid going out and people as much as possible. I suffer from severe anxiety and panic attacks. Today I received my report and the assessment states that I have no anxiety and I am able to go out without any issues which is the complete opposite of what was discussed. The report contradicts everything in the daily living component as they all state I need assistance and prompting but the mobility aspect is zero and has been recorded completely falsely. To the extent it’s like I spoke to an entirely different person. Has anyone else experienced this and what can I do to address it please. Thanks in advance.

First of all don't be tempted to phone them. You need to submit a mandatory reconsideration and if you call them to disagree with the report they will consider that to be your MR. Get someone to help you, welfare rights or citizen advice. Or if you can do it yourself sit and write each point and explain how it goes against the evidence provided.
