Late to the game, I know, but I have decided that I need an air fryer.
Is a ninja worth the money? We are a family of 4, do I want a double? How many litres do I need? Can you put the bits in the dishwasher?
Tell me everything I need to know. Smile

Theres just me and dh and we have the ninja dual max!

Well worth it. Don't really use the oven much. Can do a medium chicken and roasts it.

I don't put it in dishwasher to preserve the coating. Its fab!

Its takes a bit of trial and error if the time, heat snd mode. When you find the optimim - write it down! Forever asking "how long does this take" and told "i can't remember" and vice versa!

Pinch of Nom have a time/temp conversion guide on their website which I printed out and stuck on the fridge. Saves having to do the maths Grin

Ninja Speedi I can bake , roast , saute , slow cook and dehydrate which is all the things I need for the types of meals I cook. Just doing a Sunday lunch now , it will be in the table start to finish in approximately 16 mins.

@Maltybiscuit oh now I want a speedi!
Does it have a large capacity for air frying? Or is there a different section for each function?

@Thingsthatgo the 'pot' is quite big and then you can use the crisper tray on top , for a Sunday lunch today I chucked in potatoes , carrots , peas , parsnip and corn on the cob plus water , then the tray with four chicken breasts on top , 16 mins done , then whacked some Yorkshire puddings in for two mins whilst I made gravy from the kettle. I couldn't get worked up about air fryers I just thought I don't eat that kind of food that you'd need this machine for, but I'd literally say it's changed my life.
I batch cook a lot and like to experiment with baking and cakes and nothing has been rubbish yet ! There are some great groups on Facebook and some amazing creations and ideas. Good luck with whatever you buy.

I have Tefal single drawer and only 2 of us. Wish I got dual. Tonight did homemade burgers and chips. Had to use the grill as not everything fitted in.

I use it everyday. Didn’t think I would. But I love it
