So annoyed with myself!!

Just tried to clean the hearth and picked up the white vinegar by mistake! Made it even worse. It won't come off.

Anybody have any ideas how I can get it looking half decent again?! I need to get rid of the scratches too 😔

Can't afford a new one!

So annoyed with myself!!

Should add that this is the last day of my tenancy. I'm so angry with myself as I really can't afford this to come out of our deposit.

I have a black granite hearth like that.

In your place I would wipe the hearth clean. Can you get WD40 from anyone and spray it on it.

It brings cast iron up like new and granite will be revived.

If the white still shows through, dab black boot polish to cover

Would colouring in with a pencil help to blend it in?
