Good Morning All! What's everyone doing today?

I've had a lie in for a change & just made my first cuppa now! I'm going to take that and my breakfast into the garden - the robin's flitting about out there & being noisy.

I've put the washer on too, for some towels, and there's washing up to be done from last night. Weekends are not for housework though so not much else will be done today barring a tidy round & keeping the kitchen useable.

I've got a small pile of sewing repairs to do, 2 pairs of school trousers to take about 10" off, and a dress to shorten, as well as make something for my friend's upcoming 50th birthday. Probably won't all get done today though - I need to clear some space in the airing cupboard for some of the new towels to fit in instead of lurking in my bedroom.

The girls are off to little Asda when they get up for a few top up bits to last until mid-week, when my shop's booked for. Usually I'd go too but since I've got the sewing machine out, & a fair bit to do, they're going alone. There are usually extras brought back when they do 🤣

Roast chicken dinner for tea, then showers all round & I'll either crochet, fill in my new diary, or read some more of my book. Not sure which yet - probably the crochet. I'm making a top for me but it's slow going!

Anywho...enough waffle from me...what about all of you? 🙂

Good morning Lucysmam and others. A productive day ahead for you then! I have had breakfast and made roast butternut squash and sweet potato soup. It smells wonderful. I did all the housework etc yesterday, so today is a lazy day for me. I have a small ironing to do later and I'll potter about the house and garden. I have to get up really early tomorrow therefore it'll be an early dinner, shower and bed for me. Gammon, mash, broccoli and cauliflower cheese for dinner. Enjoy your day

Back to work for me tomorrow after 3 weeks off (not all at once. I had a week off, worked a week then had two more weeks off). So today will be getting us organised as I've not had to have us all out the house before 9am since they broke up.

DP will take them out for a few hours and I'll tackle the washing and ironing.

Waiting for food shopping to be delivered and I'm making meatballs for dinner. Forgot to order a few things so I'm going to have to run out to the supermarket anyway (it's only across the road but I do an online shop for all the heavy goods!)

We've had a really busy few weeks and looking after little people is hard. I'm looking forward to them going to granny's so I can WFH on peace.

Good morning, we’ve had a very lazy start to the day as we were up quite late last night, so this morning we had our usual weekend pancakes, they were football themed today, black is not an apetising colour for food. We’ve got the football on, so that could be a bit dramatic.

We’re not really venturing out too much today, I’m just enjoying being a limpet with the kids.

I’ve got to move a few bits of furniture and do some house bits later. We’ve got an open basement that has it’s own entrance, its the same size as the footprint of the house, so we’re hoping to airbnb it once we’ve been settled in for a while. At the minute its just a huge empty room with the boiler, so if we have time later we’re going to spray paint the where the new walls will go for the bathroom, kitchen etc to see if our dimensions work well.

Good morning! I'm currently sat in my garden with a cup of tea trying to motivate myself to go in and get started painting the bathroom, which is what I was supposed to be doing today. But it's sunny and pleasant and quiet, husband has taken daughter zip lining, dogs are snoozing in the shade... I don't think I feel like painting anymore. Might just sit out here all day and bask.
