Recommend a phone for 10 going on 11 year old

DC going into Yr6 this September. Want him to have a phone to get used to it (and hopefully the novelty of a new bit of tech will wear off by the time the real necessity of having one comes in in the following year when he transitions into secondary school)

DD loves her Nokia, and it's a smart phone but at a fraction of the cost of more popular smart phones. It has lasted three years with not a scratch on it. If you go via their website they often have good deals. Their newest ones can be fixed by the user, they have fixit sets so you can replace the screen etc if necessary and they have lots of environmental schemes in place.
