I'm guessing from a tree? They are everywhere. They even end up in the bath ! I dread a windy day here

Seeds. We get them from the trees out the back. They get everywhere

OwlBasket · 19/08/2023 16:43

birch seed. Gets everywhere and goes on for ages

ApolloandDaphne · 19/08/2023 16:48

Seeds. My bath is always full of them as they fly in through the open velux window. It's worse when it's windy as it is today.

Yep silver birch seeds. They get everywhere.

Our bath gets full of them, and all over bathroom floors

charabang · 19/08/2023 17:18

Birch seeds. Covering my garden and blowing into my bedroom and bathroom. These things can travel!

huggiess · 19/08/2023 18:54

Driving me crazy! Do they shed all year ? It feels like they're always in my house !

No, not all year. Is it not an autumnal thing?

OwlBasket · 19/08/2023 20:28

They don’t shed all year but they do shed tonnes and it’s tiny and gets stuk places then blows about again… so yeah, there’s almost always a bit but actual peak season is the next six weeks or so

Yeah. It’s endless. Acceptation of a certain level of birch seed is the only way to stay sane🥂
