Nuisance calls from 'O2'

Does anyone else have this issue? I keep getting calls from different numbers, sometimes Manchester, London, Ireland, wales and you say hello then the person says they are calling from O2. I try asking them to delete my number and the person cuts me off. It's every few days. I've tried reporting to ofcom. I'm not actually an O2 customer either!

I’ve had this. I put the phone down and block the number but they keep calling from different numbers. I do sometimes get legitimate calls from unknown numbers so it’s hard to avoid. Posting in solidarity and to hear if anyone has found a way to get rid of them!

Scammers and they’re really hard to deal with because the phone companies enable them. I have my phone settings set to silence any calls from unrecognised phone numbers. If they don’t leave a message I then block the number. Saves time.

Sorry to hear you're getting it too. Sometimes I do get valid unknown number calls so I have to answer to know who it is.
