Drinking and sleep

Why do I always sleep so badly if I just have a few drinks??

Went for dinner and had a few glasses of wine, wasn't drunk.

Went to bed about 10 (have 2 babies and was up at 5am) this is also a normal bed time for me.

Been awake since 1am.

It's the same every time I just have a few - WHHHHY??

I can sleep really drunk.

It's so annoying!

I had wine last night, although a full bottle, (again, not drunk) and sm wide awake too. The last 3 nights, no wine, didn't wake up. Its always around 3am for ne, though I go to bed later.

Oh I'm exactly the same. Glass or two of wine equals full insomnia. I wish I had an answer but unfortunately not!

Read alcohol explained by William Porter.

Alcohol messes with sleep really badly!!

I'm glad it's not just me, and thanks for the book recco - would be an interesting read.
