Anyone noticed that Branston Beans taste funky, I eat a lot of beans (weird food issues) and usually only eat Branston multipacks but the last few weeks they have tasted different and the last few times have given me an upset stomach anyone else noticed this?

I had a tin a couple of months ago and thought it didn't taste nice . A very odd tang to them.

We’ve always liked them, but recently my kids have refused to eat them. They seem much harder than they used to be! Not nice to eat at all.

Strange, I have just switched from Heinz as they are so bland these days and really like them!

I stopped buying them a few months ago, as we had a few tins which had a chemical taste to them and they smelled like TCP. They didn't make us ill though, I was just put off by it and now buy Aldi's own brand.

Oh I love Branston Beans! Not noticed anything funny.

Thank you for the responses, seems I am not alone in finding them tasting strange, I doubt they would make any one else ill, I just have a very delicate constitution and they are normally a 'safe' food but appear to become an unsafe food.
