What would you say my son's eye colour is?

Morning everyone!

Bit of a weird question but I can't tell what colour my son's eyes are for his passport. They used to be bright blue and and have changed. He's now 3. I see multiple colours and am not sure what to write so just wondering what everyone else sees?

They could be green, grey or hazel depending on the light! Lovely eyes though.

I’m leaning towards green.

My son’s eyes are like this. Hazel. Thought they’d go fully brown but haven’t at 4.

Where on a passport does eye colour need to ve stated?

Our son has exactly the same eye colour! Unusual and beautiful.

I always say dark green but there's a bit of everything in there isn't there!

Thanks everyone! Bit of a mixed bag. I feel daft not really knowing what to answer about my own child's eyes😅 they can also change depending what colour clothing he has on.

My children are German on their dad's side and they need eye colour for their passports.

Yes! This is my issue. I see hazel, grey, bit of blue and bit of green 😅

Do the German passports have a certain number of colour options? That might narrow it down.

Hazel but if had to choose a colour is say green. My LO eyes are exactly the same and It seems like they change depending on his mood🤣

They look just like DS's eyes.

They remind me of a trout (in a good way). They can be so many different shades depending on how the light falls.

They are not green or blue because they are not a single block of colour and there's brown in the middle. So I would say hazel, with the green but being a greeny grey.

I have hazel eyes and mine look khaki from a distance. From up close you can see brown in the centre. A muddy green middle and a dark outer ring.

I would say hazel. Mine are similar v light brown in the centre then gold and blue in the middle and dark blue grey on the outside. They look anything between blue, dark grey and dark green depending on the light.
