Anyone had H. pylori infection?

So I have had some issues with my stomach recently, and it's now come back I have H. Pylori infection.
Has anyone else had it or been poorly with it?
And does anyone know how long does it take to feel better?

I did! Antibiotics sorted it - was pretty quick.

Boyfriend did, and antibiotics sorted it out quickly for him too - hope you feel better soon!

I've had it a couple of times. It's caused me to have acid reflex which (for me ) causes bad coughing fits at night.

The treatment is relatively painless... High doses of a PPI eg omeprazole or lanzoprazole, plus two antibiotics for a fortnight and it was sorted. However i still take lansoprazole for the acidt reflux. It's an extremely common infection and likely to come back. Usually it's symptomless and you don't know you have it but it can lead to gastric ulcers or like me GORD (acid reflux) if untreated.

I have had it twice - first time the meds they give you really worked, second time not so much. Defo get to the GP and get the medication. Mine was a decade or more ago and it was a combo of antibiotics and strong stomach acid inhibitors.

You should be right as rain in no time.
