Flightradar24 and other flight apps - military planes

Hi,

I've just got into looking at Flightradar24 and globe.adsbexchange.com. There are so many military planes up in the air over the Uk and a few other close countries at the moment. Is this normal or is something going on?

For anyone who knows more about it, please let me know as just interested if that's normal to have that many military planes up there at the moment.

Pretty standard. Lots of training exercises. I grew up in a part of the world where being kept awake by Chinooks was just part of life. Now I live near RNAS Culdrose so have all sorts going on there.
