Any tips on how to ignore floaters?

I have a few different floaters in my right eye only. Optician said nothing to worry about but I'm finding it really hard not to focus on them. It's like one eye is looking through a really dirty windscreen and is focusing on the windscreen rather than the road ahead, if that makes sense. As my left eye is totally clear this makes my vision feel odd, like my right eye is focusing differently to the my left eye.

I know floaters aren't anything to worry about and that focusing on them makes it worse. But how is it possible not to focus on them when they're right there in my vision?!

No advice sadly, I've had them suddenly appear in my right eye over 10 years ago then a couple of years later in my left. Have heard that your brain eventually learns to ignore them but I'm still waiting! Both times I had a check at the hospital on the opticians advice and told it's common with being v short sighted and getting older.
