Anyone been to Egypt? Looking for advise

I'm disabled and looking at going to Egypt next year, September time.

To get into a pool I need walk down steps with a handbag, not a ladder. Did any of the hotels you went to have a pool with this facility.

If it did, did it then have a lift up to the rooms?

We are looking at AI, as it's our 25th wedding anniversary so recommendations are wanted.

Where is Egypt did you want to go? I assume you need a handrail for the pool, not a handbag? 🤔

Pre-covid we stayed here. There were steps and a handrail into the pool, and lifts up to the rooms. Its right on the edge of the Nile, so get a river view room.

Thank you, we did a Nile Cruise a few years ago when I could still get about so looking more for a beach holiday. I don't have a wheel chair, but do have a walker ( and a DH who will help me onto a beach🙂) so I thinking Hurghada or Sharm El-Sheikh

I've also stayed here- but maybe 8yrs ago. I really cant recall the access to the pool, but I vaguely recall it being a step in at the shallow end. You could also ask the hotel directly, or ask the question on tripadvisor.

The hotel is set on the side of a hill, like many others in sharm, but it had an inclinator from the bottom, past maybe of the bedrooms and to the restaurants at the top. It also backed onto its own, private beach at the bottom.
