Golden syrup mishap

I just picked up the wrong bottle and added golden syrup to my honey chicken sauce instead of honey.

Will it still be edible?

I did a similar thing when i used maple syrup instead of honey in teriyaki sauce. It tasted absolutely fine. It's just added sweetness.

Dinner was delicious! Not sure how it would have tasted with honey but I can recommend it with syrup!
