Which parts of The Lake District should I visit next?

I'm currently in the Lake District and though I've only had time to visit the North Lakes but I'm in love. I'm not a walker but there's still so much to do here. So many beautiful places, great shops and, at least in Summer, it's much easier to get around by public transport than I expected. Just watch the bus times. Also Booths, Cranston's and J&J Graham. I'm addicted.

I haven't even left and I'm already planning my next trip. What's your favourite part of the Lakes and where should I visit next?

TIA

Windermere and Ambleside. We also love Brockhole Nature Reserve on the edge of the lake.

Try Caldbeck, a very special village, and on to the coast. Allonby and Silloth.

I really like Pooley Bridge although the pub food isn't as good as it used to be. There's a lovely 2-3 hr round walk called the Marmalade route and you go via Dacre which has a pub called Horse and Farrier which does excellent food.

I'm also fond of Buttermere which has a nice flat walk round the lake, but I'm not sure how accessible it is with public transport

Basically I don't think I've been to a part of the Lakes I don't like.

Thanks all. I really appreciate it. These are all going on my list for my next visit or two.
