A local fete is asking for donations for a bottle tombola. I don't have anything unwanted so will he getting something especially.

What's the best sort of thing to get? Wine? Something non alcoholic?

It depends how much you want to spend, but for the school fete we gave a bottle of Big Tom and a bottle of bubble bath and the organiser thanked us for thinking outside the box. Apparently they ended up with dozens of Shloer and Prime!

I absolutely love it when there is bubble bath. That’s what I always want to win.

I ran the bottle tombola at the school fair last month. Red wine went far quicker than white wine which surprised me. Nobody wanted the mulled wine in July funnily enough.

Prosecco generally popular.

On the non-alcoholic one the big bottles of pop were the most popular. Nobody wanted the washing-up liquid or the soda water.

The really nice donations (gin, champagne) got taken off for raffle prizes instead.

Thanks! I had to Google big Tom!

I would have guessed white wine would go quicker too.

Might get some prosecco, big bottles of soft drinks and some bubble bath then.
