a powerful but quiet hairdryer recommendations please

My hairdryer just blew up on me. I use it every day so its had a lot of use. Before I look around, any recommendations for ones to look at or to avoid please that are powerful enough for my long, thick hair and are quiet enough so I don't wake the house as I get ready for work.

I love my Dyson hairdryer. It's light too so doesn't make my arm ache.

Also a vote for the Dyson and I also have long, very thick hair.

I would love a Dyson but it's out of my price range at the moment, its good to know they are worth th money though, i might need to hint for christmas. The one I had was so noisy and it took forever to dry my hair.
