Red pesto - in bolognese?

Bought red pesto for another recipe. To stop half the jar languishing in the fridge - would you bung it in a spag Bol?

Yes I always do and a bit of green, gives it wonderful richness!

Yes but don't add any salt as it will already be salty from the pesto
