Evri returns not accepted by post office

I’m so fed up! Ordered a pair of cargo pants and a top from Cos. Was all excited about them arriving. Tried them on and clearly I’ve trucked on more weight than I thought- couldn’t even nearly get into them.
Not to worry - all packed up, returns form done - will drop off at post office around the corner.
Dropped them in - was told that the Post Office doesn’t accept Evri returns . Had to look up some QR code on the returns form inside the parcel - which tells you where does ( hint - nowhere near me). Then they give you another QR code where you print a label ( even though there’s a return label on the parcel) but I don’t have a bloody printer at home and the nearest one where I can print off the label is ages away..

I’m so pissed off.. it’s a really complicated and time consuming process. And I don’t trust evri to actually return which means my refund might not get processed.

I wish I knew in advance which retailers use Evri because it has causes me so many problems that I won’t order from them - and now I can’t even bloody return stuff at the post office!

Loads of retailers use Evri. I've never had a problem returning stuff.

Obviously the location of the nearest drop-off might not work for you, but there's usually a "no print" option (so you show a QR code at the drop-off).

The Post Office has never accepted Evri returns. It’s a totally separate company.

Did you not read the returns policy before ordering - it would have stated Evri there.

Can you arrange for Evri to pick up from you.

You can return to Cos via royal mail according to this

Sounds like you've initiated an Evri return but then take. to the post office. Follow instructions in the link to return via Royal Mail

The returns policy says they can be returned via Royal Mail so I filled in the returns form and stuck the return label provided on the parcel. Turns out the return label provided only works for Evri . And I’m pretty sure I have returned items that have been delivered to me by Evri via the Royal Mail before.

Thanks for this OMGitsnotgood - turns out there’s an online form to fill in with Royal Mail and they give you a QR code that can be used to print label in post office. Wish they had told me that when I was there!

I suppose they can't be expected to know every retailers returns options. Hopefully you'll get sorted now.

The returns policy on the COS website is very clear with step by step instructions on how to return using various methods.
