To completely not understand the point of a steam mop ???

I've been given a shark steam mop ive used it twice and i just don't get it . What's the point. It cleans the floor yeah I get that but does it really do a deep clean it doesn't really leave the floor wet. Am I not just better off to use an actual mop? Do you have a steam mop what do you think? Maybe I just need to get use to it

I don't understand them either.

I was loaned a reasonably larger Karcher steam cleaner and was really underwhelmed. I was expecting something that shot out great clouds of superheated steam with cleaning product and blasted away dirt and grime.

All I got was a slightly hotter and damper kitchen & bathroom.
