Neighbours have put weed killer down on shared stairs/path

It's quite an amount they've put down. We have young DC one with probable asd (still on waiting list) and a dog. Surely if it's toxic they would have told us?

Anyway I am going to chap her door and ask if what it is is toxic but do I have the right to ask her not to put anything down? I don't want to rock the boat but not at expense of DC and pets safety

I wouldn’t worry. Most weed killers are non toxic to humans and pets and even those that are mildly toxic, the toxins evaporate after two hours. So should be fine by now.

Its no longer toxic once it has dried
