Cannot be beaten

What food in your opinion cannot be beaten.

For me it’s:

M&S 2 year old Cornish crunch cheddar cheese (makes for very good cheese on toast)
M&S rotisserie chicken
M&S also do a lovely Mediterranean cous cous. It’s my current favourite and yet to find another one to beat it.

My local shop do a sweet chilli hummus that I haven’t seen anywhere else and it’s ace.

A bakery close to me make birthday cakes with a plain sponge and chocolate chip filling that is sandwiched together with chocolate buttercream. It sounds heavy but it’s divine.

What’s yours?

Our family recipe for meatballs. There is just no better alternative.

Lotus zebra chocolate cookies (I don’t think they sell these in the UK)
Lavender Edam cheese (again I’ve never seen it in the UK)
The m and s beef and horseradish sandwich
Heinz spicy baked beans
My grandmothers kugel (basically a stew that had been baked that she put potatoes, cheese and carrots in)
