Watching dvds by the pool

I have just lost the will to live. On holiday, quiet villa set up with communal pool.
two people are watching their DVD player with no headphones on the side of the pool while they tread water.
I am so very tired and just want to relax. We left.

This is one of my pet peeves. In this context I’d have said something though: bad enough on a busy bus, not somewhere explicitly meant for peace & quiet!

If it happens again tomorrow I will say something. Even my kids said, why don’t they swim in the swimming pool? They are part of a large family group so they tend to take over the pool which is fine when they are using it to swim in! But not as an extension of their villa.
people really don’t seem to understand shared space.
