Best payment card to use in Australia

I usually use Revolut but I haven't been impressed with their security or customer service since my card was hacked, my bank charges high fees which I'd rather not pay so I'm looking for an alternative.

Can I ask for recommendations please.

Hi I used starling when I went to Australia.

Halifax Clarity Credit Card. It's a Mastercard so can be used anywhere in the world including Australia.

Or Caxton? I've always found them good.

Hi I used starling when I went to Australia.

I've looked at Starling, I'm intending to use it for trips only, do you know if you are you expected to deposit regular amounts of money to keep the card/account active?

Not as far as I know. I am going on holiday again in a week or so (not Australia) and am going to use it again. I do generally keep it in credit though, even only £10 at one point.

I've used HSBC- but the other way- gives you the daily exchange rate and you can flip between dollars and pounds to see the amount you have- it's got a great international rating.

Have you looked at Wise? Used to be TransferWise.

Thanks all, I've gone with Starling
