Ideas for starting a business from home

I've been given some money from an investment I previously made and would really like to start a business from home.

I just can't think of anything that I think would be successful or there is a demand for.

Does anybody have any ideas or can offer some advice.

Do you have any hobbies that you can turn into a business?

I'm currently looking for someone who will sit my very elderly, gentle dog when I have appointments. I'd like to be able to drop her off with someone kind, quiet and responsible who I know would care for her beautifully. I'd pay a lot of money for that.
