This happened to me today.
Ordered a £200 electrical item as a present. Was sent the security code which I duly gave to the driver on delivery and was handed a box which looked the right/size weight.
Opened it after they’d gone to find cat food inside. I don’t even have a cat.
Googled and realised this is a known scam. Contacted Amazon immediately who arranged a no quibbles replacement. However it seems some people haven’t been so lucky. Amazon have requested a return of the low value cat food, perhaps they’re tracing where the switch happened in their supply chain.
