Husband has been complaining about our washer dryer. It has been on its last legs and he's been saying it's time we treated ourselves to a new one. The drying function is not much cop. I don't care cause I never tumble dry but he likes to have the dryer function. He's away for a fortnight with the kids at his parents, bought a new one to surprise him.

I've realised - a week into gleefully using it and marvelling at the 11kg drum - that I've accidentally bought just a washing machine rather than a washer dryer.

I can't return it now, can I? I've been using it a week. He's going to have the right hump when he gets home 😬

I know someone who did exactly this and it was a genuine mistake. Just wondering, but do you have room for a real dryer? Your husband would absolutely love one of those. 😊

The 11kg drum is a marvel, very water/energy saving and will save you time as you'll get much more done in one go. You've never needed a dryer. Now you can tell DH that you are, as a family, simultaneously saving the planet, and saving your pennies. Actually, your pounds as tumble drying is mega expensive (even in pre COL times). You can do this!

It does have an extremely effective spin. I was just thinking how dry stuff was when I took it out.

No gonna cut any mustard with the mister, though. He likes his towels fluffy.

A crusty towel will not only dry him more effectively, but will also exfoliate his skin allowing you to sensually massage oil in to it on a day and time of your choosing every decade.
