I've had toothache and saw a dentist this am .
What is anyone's opinion that the problem could be?
Apart from shocking teeth that probably need removed .

Surely the filling has come loose? What did the dentist say?

Mine has messed my teeth up completely. I can't eat on one side. I'm scared to go back!

Looks like a leaking filling and possibly some decay. What sort of pain are you getting? Does anything set it off?
