Is it just me or do Pringles taste different now? And twiglets

Is it just me or do Pringles taste different these days? Especially the original flavour. Have they changed the recipe or the oil they cook them in? I haven't had covid, ever. Maybe it's my age? Are my tastebuds ageing?

Twiglets don't taste as nice either .

What other foods have you found taste differently these days?

They taste almost burnt now. And I'm sure they are much thinner!

Pringles taste greasier and burned lately. I remember when they first came out, many many years ago, and they were so thin, light and salty.

Pringles are much less likely to burn the roof of my mouth off with the strong salt and vinegar nowadays. They're just meh. It's sad.

It's bad enough they shove palm oil in chocolate. I wish these food companies would stop messing with our junk food!

Twiglets do taste burnt! And they are much shorter than originally, too.

I'm quite glad Pringles taste terrible now because I used to quite happily demolish half a tube.

They did change the recipe for twiglets recently so we don't buy them anymore. Recently had red pringels and couldn't eat them as they had a weird chemical after taste

I don’t like Pringles so can’t really comment there but whoever fucked about with twiglets has crossed the line BIG time. And needs serious punishment. I swear I was their best customer for years but I refuse to buy them anymore. Burnt thin short stumpy excuses for twiglets. So bland, absolutely no marmitey goodness on them anymore. They used to be almost glazed with the stuff. Now? Dry as a sawdust. They’ll not get a penny more out of me, the filthy swindling bastards 🤬

I've noticed lately that pringles don't have the same satisfying crunch anymore.... it's a travesty. Wish they would just stop messing with stuff....

Funny you should say that, but Inhadna tube of red Pringles recently. Hasn’t eaten them in ages. Used to like them, but found they didn’t taste right at all. Can’t put my finger on what was different.

I'm in Spain at the moment, Pringles, crisps in general and coke taste way better than in England. I don't think heyve removed all the stuff yet.

Pringles taste like someone left the lid off and they got stale. They are soft and don't crunch. It's like when you accidentally open a bag of crisps that had a popped bag and air has got to them

Pringles changed their recipies a year or 2 ago and started adding whey power to all the flavours except plain.

Pringles are ultra processed rubbish, most ingredients can't be counted as 'food'. They add chemicals to make you want to eat more, and they are expensive!
