What with this being the first day of the Scottish school term and me being a native Glaswegian I was bracing myself foe the deluge of first day back photos on Facebook. And... nothing! And then I thought well did I even do one with my kids last year? No, because they were 10 last year and wouldn’t have it. And actually we had our kids later than most of the folk I know, most of their kids are nearly finished school altogether, and I've even got a few school friends who are onto grandkids! Like it's not even that they're young grandparents now, it's all "were delighted to announce the birth of our granddaughter" kind of posts you see. I'm just a bit taken by surprise. Since covid started, time just seems to be running funny.
