Fridges & freezers

We've had the same split fridge freezer that we bought when we moved I to our home and it's starting to show it's age. We've patched it up when the cool boxes got cracked and the plastic fronts on the freezer drawers cracked and broke. It's over 20 yrs old in case you're wondering.

So, we now want to get a tall fridge and a separate tall freezer.

We don't have the budget for either Neff or Smeg appliances.

Of the other brands out there, what would you recommend and why?

Have a bump... we are looking to buy a new (additional) freezer. Normal not chest, just to give us some extra space.

We would love to know what the really low budget (circa £100) freezers are like and what we should go for brand wise.
