Downsizing from changing bag

DC are 5 and 2. DD2 is still in nappies atm but looking to potty train soon. Just wondering what sort of bag to get when she's out of nappies given that I don't drive so I'll still need to carry quite a bit (snacks, change of clothes, drinks etc). Change bag is a backpack which I like but I feel like I could use a smaller backpack for everyday and just use the big one for day trips. Any ideas?

I have a small backpack from accessorise which carries purse, kids water bottles, couple of snacks, baby wipes and a pair of pants for DS. It’s pretty much all I need now DS is reliably toilet trained. I encourage DD age 6 to carry her own little backapck now too and tie jumpers or coats around her waist so I don’t end up carrying everything

I changed to a fjallraven kanken. Fits loads in even thought it’s compact. I also like that it’s a ‘grown up’ bag so on the rare occasion that DD is not with me, I don’t have to change bags, just take a few bits out.

Each of my kids has a kids size Kath kidstone bag which holds their change of clothes, nappies for the youngest one, snacks, drink bottle, first aid kit and shall activities. The older two (5 and 3 years old) carry their bag and the youngest one goes in the pushchair

We have one of these, throw into ruck sack or carry on its own, wet section and dry section, fits a couple of changes of clothes and even fit a collapsible loo seat reducer back when we needed that.
