woudl she like a kite
i see people flying kites and think that is a great present.

otherwise, some nice stationery/book token

ElectricToothbrush · 13/08/2023 12:38

Is Smiggle still popular? When DD was 10 she loved all their stationery.

Stopdropnroll · 13/08/2023 12:43

A gift that went down really well withy 9 Yr old was a flower press. She love either collect flowers to put in it or if I have some I let her press a few and then she makes cards out of the flowers once pressed.

DD 11 and her friends currently very into arts & crafts, ie badge making, needle felting, fimo clay, watercolor painting. And reading.

Have you seen those hair curlers on amazon? Cordless auto curling iron? Only £20 and look like good fun. Could also be a load of rubbish, but not expensive.

£30 switch game, lego, books, hoodie, craft stuff, sports stuff, gaming head set,

Why not ask her or her mum what she'd like? I think kids are very different and it would make more sense to get actual ideas instead of generic 10 yo gifts.

NancyJoan · 13/08/2023 14:59

An AirUp water bottle

Needmorelego · 13/08/2023 15:06

Either ask her parents what she likes or get a gift voucher for somewhere like Whsmith that sells lots of different things.
She could be into 1001 different things and have zero interest in 1001 more.

Popcorn maker

Excitedannie · 13/08/2023 17:53

Thank you everyone - some great ideas! Her mum wasn't particularly helpful in that she is out of ideas too - she's the youngest of four so she has lots of second hand stuff so it's in the house already!
